Partnering with OESI on Cancer Education

Partnerships enhance the quality of the design, implementation, and evaluation of Office of Education and Special Initiatives (OESI) educational resources. OESI partners are organizations that support the mission of OESI and serve as intermediaries to intended audiences. They include:
  • National and regional organizations, their affiliates/chapters,

  • NCI-affiliated groups, (Cancer Information Service partners; Community Clinical Oncology Programs, cancer centers, cooperative groups) and

  • Other Federal agencies.

Partner Organizations work with OESI to develop, promote, disseminate, and/or evaluate educational materials and programs. Partners may assist in activities ranging from concept development and pilot-testing of materials to participating in outcome evaluation. Benefits of partnering with OESI may include:

  • Increased ordering capabilities

  • Technical assistance in education program planning and training

  • Tailored materials

  • Opportunity to input on national level initiatives in cancer education

  • Co-branded, ride-on, and other alternative printing options
